The 2022 Burns Dinner is in the books as a smashing success! We must thank all of the people who helped make the evening as fun filled as it was including: The Southern Indiana Pipe & Drums Band, Bro. Kristopher Kraut and his team at Federal Coffee & Fine Foods, and the ladies and gentlemen of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 43.
For their toasts, poetry readings, musical entertainment and other various parts we must also than W.Bro. Matthew Lowe (Chairman), Bro. Frank Lynn (Address to Haggis), W.Bro, Chris Cordray (the Immortal Memory), W. Bro. Jordan & Andrea Bayles (toasts to the Lassies & Laddies), W.Bro. Bruce Royer (recital of No Churchman am I), Bro. Samuel & Rebekah Lawson (musical performances), Leslie Cordray (delicious shortbread cookies) and our very own Worshipful Master Ian Bertucci (trombone solos).
This Burns Night was extra special, as Number 19 debuted its newly woven Registered Tartan! Many thanks to Egbert Harmse, proprietor of Cargo Kilts, for his help bringing this idea from an image to life as cloth, and especially in the time constraints he was working in!
